Remicade Information
When Centocor, Inc. received FDA approval for its drug Remicade (infliximab) in August of 1998, it was hailed as a breakthrough. Approved for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's disease, Remicade was studied with hopes to expand its indications.
Fast forward to May 17, 2006. A new study conducted by researchers at the Mayo Clinic found that rheumatoid arthritis patients taking Remicade stand an increased risk for developing several types of cancer or serious infection.

The Side Effects
